Our world, and our city, has changed a lot over the years. The Golden Rule has seemingly been forgotten in a sea of self-sufficiency and skepticism. Most of us can no longer claim to know even the people on our own block... and you can just forget about borrowing a cup of sugar. "Neighbors" just aren't what they used to be.
