Jesus once said, as He observed a large crowd of people, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37). That profound statement has rung true for more than 2,000 years and can certainly be applied to our world today. There is never a shortage of needs to be met.
At Calvary Assembly, we believe that love is always the right response in every situation. John 13:35 states that people will know we are Christians by our love. Following this example, we strive to find needs within our community and work our best to meet those needs, whether big or small.
Throughout the year, Calvary Assembly organizes various outreach events, from grocery give-a-ways to donating school supplies. Once a year, we hold a church wide event called “Love Loud”. As the hands and feet of Jesus, we go outside the church walls and do absolutely anything we can to help meet the physical needs of our community. We reconstruct playgrounds, clean up trash, paint curbs and do anything we can to show the love of Christ in a tangible way. Outreach, simply put, is finding a need and doing your best to meet it.
We invite you to join us in Calvary's Outreach Ministries.
